The EU ABC

An Internet dictionary providing concise explanations of terms used in the EU debate, and a lot of useful links. Its aim is to inform people on the debate on the future of Europe and is therefore a good resource for information on the new European Constitution. It’s very helpful if you know which term or concept you are looking for, but less convenient if you are looking for an overview of EU concepts and terms. The site is regularly updated and available in most of the EU languages.

European Neighbourhood Policy
Launched in 2003, the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) aims at creating a ring of countries, sharing EU's democratic ideals and joining them in further integration without necessarily becoming full member states of the EU.
The ENP website provides many strategy papers, ENP Action Plans and country reports and other relevant EU And Commission reports.

Human Rights and Democratisation in the European Union's External Relations
The EU draws on a wide-range of tools, available on this website, to promote human rights and democratisation objectives in external relations, Some of these tools are instruments of traditional diplomacy and foreign policy, such as declarations, demarches as well as resolutions and interventions within the United Nations framework. In addition, the EU promotes human rights and democratisation through various co-operation and assistance programmes it implements with third countries and through the political dialogues that it conducts with them.
