Task Force on the New EMHRN Web Site

When the EMHRN decided to create a new website in 2005, an ad hoc task force was established to supervise and give input to the establishment. This was to ensure that members were involved in the conception of this site

Activities of the Task Force

The group has met twice:
  • 15-16 April 2005, Copenhagen:
The Task Force had a very constructive meeting where participants exchanged experiences on the establishment of websites and had an in-depth discussion on the aim and purpose of the EMHRN website, identifying the criteria for materials on the website as well as on the content of the website (and which modules to prioritise). The methodology for establishing the website as well as how to evaluate the website were discussed.
  • 27 February 2006, Paris:
At the meeting the draft version of the website was evaluated and  amendments to the structure proposed. Also, the participants planned the launch and decided on a plan of action for 2006. The WG had a very constructive meeting where participants gave a lot of input and suggestions to the site many of which were taken aboard immediately whereas others were kept as ideas for future development of the web site.
  • 14 May 2006, GA, Madrid:
The new web site was presented to the EMHRN General Assembly with a Flash Presentation. The presentation was produced and kindly made available by Munir Idaibes from SIGI.

Apart from the meetings, the Task Force members have supplied materials and given advice on the content of the web site.
