The “Euromed 2008 Summer School” was organised by the EMHRN Working Group on Human Rights Education & Youth. It was a one week long event comprising lectures related to Human rights issues in the Euro-Mediterranean region and workshops focusing on the learning and facilitation of interactive human rights education methodologies approaches.
Designed as training for trainers, the EuroMed Summer School, for its third session, aimed at promoting the dissemination of human rights culture and human rights values through active education activities addressing young people who hold a confirmed and practical experience in the field of Human Rights. The EuroMed 2008 Summer School seeked to offer to young people committed to Human rights a space for exchange and dialogue while building their capacities and competences with tools and methodologies around human rights learning and action leading.
