EOHR calls the Egyptian government for providing the protection to Nasser Amin, Director of the Arab Center for the Independence of judiciary and legal profession

The undersigned organizations condemned the threats received by Mr.
Nasser Amin, director of the Arab Center for the Independence of judiciary and legal profession , and Hammad Wadi Sanad , researcher at the center ( Sudanese nationality ), via E-mails of the center by a group called itself "Mogahdy Al Shark Al Awsat in Cairo "for supporting the role of the International Criminal Court concerning Darfur crisis .
 
On 25/10/2008 ,the center received a threat via E-mails by the group mentioned above which calls the director of the center for stop supporting the role of the International Criminal Court towards Darfur crisis .

In this regard , the undersigned organizations announced their condemnation concerning the threats ,also they express their deepest worries concerning whom impose their trusteeship over thinking and society the matter which led to intercept the role of civil institutions towards the society . EOHR calls the Egyptian authority for providing a full protection to Mr. Nasser Amin and Mr.Hamad Sanad according to what the Constitution , the Egyptian laws and the international covenants concerned with human rights stipulated on their right to expression , life and body safety .
